After spending 34 years at a major propulsion supplier, Dr. Patrick Hewitt founded SPARC Research in 2018 with the mission of advancing the start-of-the-art in missile propulsion while providing employees with an enjoyable and rewarding work-life balance. Happy Employees = Happy Customers. Throughout his career, Dr. Hewitt saw the need for an “Unbiased Broker” in missile propulsion and an opportunity for SPARC to fill this role. Dr. Hewitt also saw an opportunity to pair SME’s with decades of experience with the next generation of rocket scientists. With historical knowledge and modern tools, SPARC is addressing barriers that have plagued the industry for decades. “Experience Density x Modern Insight.” From humble beginnings in a small office in the town of Warrenton to opening our new 20,000 sq ft facility at the Vint Hill technology park in Warrenton, SPARC is all in to make itself a household name in missile propulsion.
