Internships & Mentoring

SPARC Research welcomes you to further your education and gain hands-on experience.

College Internships – We offer College Internships at all levels to those who are seeking hands-on experience in propulsion, design, and programming.
High School Internships – We also provide paid internship opportunities for high school students, as well as unpaid internships required for school curriculums.
Mentoring – We offer mentoring to students to help them gain experience by individual instruction, and providing hands-on experiences.

Retirement Plan – SPARC Research provides a 401K and Roth retirement program for eligible full‐time and part‐time employees, including a loan provision. The plan includes matching and profit sharing, and all fund management fees are paid by the company.
Insurance – We currently provide individual health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance benefits for eligible full‐time and part‐time employees, with a substantial percentage of the premiums paid by the company.

SPARC Research headquarters is located in Warrenton, VA in the heart of Fauquier County. There is easy access to the Washington DC Metro area, Dulles Airport, and the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park.

Cumberland, MD

Cumberland Maryland has a rich transportation and industrial history where our team can explore the great outdoors not only with the revitalized downtown area, but also in the numerous parks. It’s a great place for outdoor activities such as hiking and biking in the surrounding mountains.

Breweries

Fauquier County is truly for Craft Beer Lovers, and everyone from the weekend travelers to the most experienced beer experts from around the world is taking notice. In the last decade, the Fauquier craft beer scene has exploded, with new breweries popping up across the county where visitors can soak in some local flavor.

Allegany County

SPARC Research has a location in Cumberland, MD with easy access to the Washington DC Metro area, the C&O Canal National Historic Park, the National Road Zero Mile Marker and the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad.

Shenandoah National Park

At SPARC Research, our team loves to explore the outdoors. Having easy access to disconnect and breathe the fresh air in some of the state’s most scenic national parks is a priority.

Wineries

Fauquier County is home to a diverse collection of wine makers. Less than an hour from Washington, D.C., these northern Virginia wineries offer the perfect escape with historic small towns, rolling hills, horse farms, and views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
