Matt Cornwell is the President of SPARC Research. He is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, its employees, and profit & loss. He ensures the company vision, mission, and policies & procedures are upheld. Matt has over 15 years in the aerospace & defense industry and 26 years of management experience.

Prior to joining SPARC Research, Matt was the Market Area Lead of Advanced Programs for Northrop Grumman’s Rocket Center, WV site. Prior to this role, Matt also led several Program Management teams, managed the Proposal and Price Estimating group, and worked in Business Development.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Shepherd University in Psychology and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

When he’s not having fun at SPARC Research, you can find Matt spending time with his wife and kids. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, cooking, golf, yard work, and playing with his dogs.
