SPARC Research is committed to our involvment in the local community. Below are just a few things that we've participated in, and we look forward to new events in the coming year as well.
NO CHILD GOES HUNGRY (June 2020)
Thanks to the generosity of Fauquier FISH, A Little Heart, and Saint James’ Episcopal Church and School, every family who came to Grab-and-Go Meal sites left with food this past summer. Working together, these organizations, along with help from SPARC Research and the Highland School community, assembled more than 1,000 “snow day kits” to address the needs of Fauquier County children who may be food insecure.
Little Hearts Charity Lunch (2020)
Little Hearts Charity was asked to provide 500 bags of food a month for June, July and August for 500 Fauquier School children. SPARC Research was happy to be a part of this effort.
Little Hearts Backpacks (August 2019)
SPARC Research was proud to team up with Little Hearts Backpacks to provide school supplies for students in Fauquier County.
Highland Fairy Garden (outdoor classroom)
SPARC Research funded this project, consisting of 6x6 timber edging, drainage trenching, playground mulch, gravel path, etc. Here are the before and after photos:
