The Appalachian Regional Commission’s 2025 Annual Conference was held at Frostburg State University in October 2025. SPARC’s Senior Director of Programs and Operations, Jason VanMeter, supported the event by participating in a panel discussion with Allegany College of Maryland/Western Maryland Works staff, and other regional industry colleagues from various companies. The breakout session was entitled “Preparing Tomorrow’s Workforce Today by Bridging the Gap Between Education and Industry Application.”
