On January 21, 2025 members of SPARC Research’s management team were honored to visit Allegany College of Maryland’s Western Maryland Works (WMW). This innovative program’s purpose is to usher in a new era of advanced manufacturing and workforce development for the region. Dean of Continuing Education & Workforce Development, Dr. Thomas McInroy and his team shared their site and the future opportunities they are envisioning.
Our team extended their meetings by visiting with the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation to further explore SPARC expansion possibilities available in the western Maryland area. Matt Miller, Executive Director of CEDC, shared his extensive knowledge of the area and the potential it holds for future workforce development.
SPARC Research is headquartered in Warrenton, VA, and a short distance from Washington, DC. SPARC is actively pursuing avenues to drive work and revenue into the Cumberland area and knows partnerships with these two organizations will be key to making this happen.
