The National Society of Professional Engineers initiated Engineers Week in 1951 to highlight the important role engineers play in our society, and it has been celebrated every year since. This week was chosen to coincide with the birthday of George Washington. Due to his surveying work and his invention of the drill plow, George Washington is hailed as the first engineer in the United States. Throughout his lifetime, President Washington supported engineering and scientific advancement.
This National Engineering Week, SPARC Research would like to extend a heartfelt shoutout to the unsung heroes of our company – our engineers. Your tireless efforts, unmatched expertise, and unwavering dedication doesn’t just solve problems; they innovate, inspire, and ignite change. Today’s engineering appreciation lunch is just small token of our appreciation for all that you do.
