In recognition of Veterans Day, SPARC Research is proud to spotlight U.S. Army Captain, Dan Glanz Jr (Ret.). and thank him for his service to our country. Dan is a decorated U.S. Army Captain (2 Bronze Star Medals, a Purple Heart Medal, and the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award) who served as Civil Affairs Assistant Team Leader and Team Leader during two combat tours in Afghanistan. A Senior Engineer in Structural Design and Analysis at SPARC Research. Dan has worked with multi-disciplinary teams, designed and analyzed structural aspects of multiple space and military solid rocket motors. In addition, Dan is a solid rocket motor nozzle Subject Matter Expert and the primary author of guidelines for SRM Nozzle Analysis and extensive analysis documentation.
In his spare time, Dan, an escape game curator, and his wife own and operate Puzzle Room Live in Culpeper, Virginia.
On this Veterans Day, it’s a great reminder that at the end of the day, SPARC Research’s mission is to support the Warfighter. SPARC Research is proud to have Dan as a leader in that mission.
